hillbilly bday!!

For my birthday, the big 2-5, we threw a hill billy themed party.  I'm so gla all of my friends bravely got their crazy costumes together and came over.  It was a pretty chill event, full of beer, crazy food and friends.

Nate rounded up his recent catch and kills from our freezer and made some interesting themed appetizers.  Each food was labeled with a "hill billy name".  Elk kabob (Mt. Kow on a Stik), corn bread (Kurn Bred), fried trout (Crik Fish), and fried pheasant (Orental Chikn).

This was the costume I wore.  It was a pioneer sort of dress, perfect for the hills.  Thanks everyone for making this birthday a great one!
